artists

Richard Dinnis
Sam Winston
Word To Mother
Bronco
Lizzie Ridout (see above, and below)
David Shrigley

This feels like a nice mix of types of artists...

Richard is obviously a genius of the highest order, say no more.
Sam works only with text - in a very professional and polished design based way, yet with a very human, real, hands on 'cut up' feel.
Word to Mother has a very handmade, earthy, natural feel to his work that I think adds an interesting juxtaposition to Sam's work in particular.
Bronco is a proper street artist in the sense of getting up there, hitting the streets hard. He uses a gloriously simple and matter of fact style - the words / message does the majority of the work. I think he'd bring a really nice different element to the project, and I'd bet he'd be very interesting to listen to.
David Shrigley needs little introduction, and it would be so wonderful to have him involved.
ADD - Lizzie Ridout (see artists (update) above)

There are a number of other artists who I'm sure we could think of at the drop of a hat who's work and ideas would fit gloriously with the idea behind the show. I wonder if for now we should concentrate purely on the people above, as to help us (me) focus etc. although it's interesting to briefly contemplate growing in numbers, especially in relation to the book, if not the show (particularly the talks aspect)...
